“Love your enemies”

This commandment is the deepest essence of Christianity.

This is said by Christ not me

This is mentioned in the Bible not by the fathers of the church.

“Love your enemies”

It has the imperative or the obligatory formula

Be careful lest your love be languished

Be careful of categorizing people

Be the one whom Christ wants

If you are not so, let this period of fasting be a holy period when you judge yourself.
