Why does the church ask believers to fast Two Thirds of the year?! Almost 200 days of the year?!

What are the differences between the christian fasting and other religion's? Our answer should be different! Why then is fasting is so essential?

WE FAST LIKE OUR KING, WE DO LIKE OUR FATHER DID ON EARTH.

FASTING IS OUR WEAPON AGAINST TEMPTATION.
